About The Event

Poppy Blandford (B.Sc.O.T., M.Sc.PMC) works internationally as a Mental Performance Coach specialising in Equestrian Sport.

Psychology has emerged a hugely important element in equestrian sport in recent years and many of the top riders are now integrating psychology into their competition preparation.

Working closely with federations, development squads, teams, coaches and international riders, Poppy has built a strong reputation for her specialist ability to influence the performance of Equestrian athletes both in competition and equestrian business. Poppy is known for her in-depth knowledge of the equine industry, working to help individuals perform consistently and thrive under pressure. Poppy believes that by putting in place the right mental strategies, support and processes at home and at competition, effort will be rewarded with success.

Poppy will host the evening at the Killashee giving participants the opportunity to learn and improve their mental skills in the saddle. Dealing with a wide range of topics from the warm up ring to confidence, nerves, planning and focus, the evening will be full of tips to take away and implement into your own riding. Poppy has many stories from the worlds best riders that will help you plan, prepare and ride better!

Tickets numbers are limited due to seating availablity so book early to avoid disappointment. No tickets available on the door, all entry must be prepaid.

This Year 20% of the profits from the evening will go directly to The Jack Dodd Foundation.

The Jack Dodd foundation seeks to create an essence of community and togetherness, encouraging riders to help one another and balance their strengths and weaknesses through the sharing of information. As an Industry, we need to strive towards improving performance development through the growth of individuals as people as well as athletes.
