Poppy Blandford (B.Sc.O.T., M.Sc.PMC) works internationally as a Mental Performance Coach specialising in Equestrian Sport.
Working closely with federations, development squads, teams, coaches and international riders, Poppy has built a strong reputation for her specialist ability to influence the performance of Equestrian athletes. Poppy is known for her in-depth knowledge of the equine industry, working to help individuals perform consistently and thrive under pressure. Poppy believes that by putting in place the right mental strategies, support and processes at home and at competition, effort will be rewarded with success.
Psychology has emerged a hugely important element in equestrian sport in recent years and riders of all levels are now integrating psychology preparation into their competition routine. Poppy will host the evening over Zoom video call giving participants the opportunity to learn and improve their mental skills in the saddle. Dealing with a wide range of topics from the warm up ring to confidence, nerves, planning and focus, the evening will be full of tips to take away and implement into your own riding. Poppy has many stories from the worlds best riders that will help you plan, prepare and ride better!
